Good selection and super helpful staff. Lilly was informative and kind (and her name is Lilly and she works in a plant store! I mean come on! Perfect.). I can also tell you they have quality plants. I have some plants from here that are years old and I am no green thumb.

This is my favorite local plant shop! Beautiful plant selection and pottery selection. A must-visit for plant-lovers on Mississippi Ave. Caroline and Shelly were very knowledgeable, helpful, and kind. Caroline answered all of my questions about how to care for my new plant babies, and Shelly even offered to replant them in their new pots and provided soil tailored to my plants' needs. A great experience overall!

By far the best nursery in Portland. The space is beautifully curated, with an amazing selection of plants, terrariums, and unique pieces you don’t see everywhere. Everything feels thoughtful and intentional. I especially loved the small details throughout—including the chickens outside, with their lace-like, elegant feathers, adding an unexpected touch. It’s a place you can easily spend time just walking around and getting inspired.

This place is 6 stars out of five! Rachel was amazing! I brought my fiancée to Pistils Nursery on Mississippi for her birthday as a surprise, and it was such a hit. We spent the afternoon at their terrarium bar, and she ended up making this huge terrarium that turned out absolutely beautiful. The whole experience was so easygoing and fun. Rachel helped us from start to finish, she was super friendly, patient, and clearly loves what she does. She gave us great tips and made the whole process feel creative instead of intimidating. They had an amazing selection of plants, mosses, stones, and decorations, everything you could possibly want to make something special. The shop itself is gorgeous too, calm, bright, and full of life. It honestly couldn’t have gone better. Pistils made her birthday feel personal and memorable, and we left with something we’re both proud of. Can’t recommend this place enough.

Why did I go in here?! I should know better by now, but I couldn’t NOT stop-in. They have an amazing selection of plants, including many unique/rare ones. I have no room for more plants, and I’m also flying back to the East Coast tomorrow. I STILL bought a philodendron (Florida) because it was beautiful, and I’ve never seen one for sale in-person at my local plant shops. Staff were very accommodating and welcoming. The cashier/assistant was actually excited for me, that I was buying this awesome plant. 🤣 Their ceramic pots in soft desert and pastel tones are so pretty, but I had no room in my suitcase. They’ve also got DIY terrarium-building areas! I was sad to leave!
